Being that this is one of my go to, favorite coffee shops I feel bad that I have not taken the time to give it a review...
-The coffee & espresso are always on point. Best tasting in town in my opinion. Never bitter, consistently just right.
-The pastries and food and great, made with high quality ingredients. Be mindful though, that their delicious breakfast burritos are only served until 11am, learned that the hard way one day ;)
-The baristas in general are a bit slow to warm, but once you start frequenting, they recognize you & make you feel glad to be a repeat customer.
-The owner sometimes works as barista and when he does he always does it with a warm smile.
-The space is historically hip. I'm a fan of original brick, and I love the local artist's displays. My favorite area to sit is in front of the window facing Roosevelt St. The patio seating in the back is great especially in Phoenix Fall/Winter/Spring :)
-Neighbors Pita Jungle, another excellent choice when you're in the mood for a meal.
All around, love Lola.
