Just to clarify, this is not a fast food place, or an Americanized Chinese take-out counter: it's a (small, straightforward) restaurant. The food here is fantastic. Take a clue from the regulars - get the combination noodles, the salt and pepper pork chops, and an order of roast duck. It's all very rich and flavorful, without being overwhelming - there's no skimping on the salt or soy sauce here, but it's all in good taste, especially when you can eat half of what you order, and take the rest home. It's great food at highly competitive prices - most dishes hover around the $8-12 range, and the servings are generous. The staff is polite, and they seem to be genuinely concerned about you and your visit. They took the time to entertain the to-go customers as they waited for their orders, which was cute to see. It's evident that the food and good service have won them such a following despite the saturation of restaurants in nearby Chinatown.
