The Writer's Block is a charming store that makes you want to buy books. There are toys and trinkets scattered throughout, as well as (fake) birds you can adopt (which is just the coolest idea, to me). I overheard an employee tell another customer that they are able to order special-request books, so if you want something very particular (or just something they don't have), they seem very willing to get it for you. The shop itself is both organized and laid out beautifully, which makes you feel at home. It would be very easy to lose a couple hours inside just wandering and looking at everything they have. Plus -- there's a REAL bunny! He doesn't hop around the store (as far as I've seen), but he's very cool to admire before you check out. My goal is to visit The Writer's Block next time I'm in need of a new book to help keep this shop thriving in town. I hope you'll check it out, too!
