I came here to check out all the hype. I had a bit of trouble finding it in the food court. It's next to the performance stage, so I saw a bunch of people congregated in that area for something. The line for Woofles and Cream looked like it was part of that crowd. The line itself took about 5 minutes, followed by a 20 minute wait, when they would either call your cell or yell your name out when your order was ready. The two owners/workers were working diligently to get the orders out. The cashier was very friendly and explained how the orders worked since it was my first time there. I got the Original woofle with Twist (matcha and vanilla) and my friend got the Black N White Sesame with Matcha ice cream. Mine was very underwhelming. The sweetness of the vanilla completely overpowered the matcha. I didn't taste any matcha flavouring. The vanilla, coupled with the sweet original woofle was too much and I got sick of mine 3/4 in. I had some of my friend's and it was MUCH better. Note: if you're going to come here, get a special woofle as opposed to an original that you can get anywhere else...I was playing it safe and look where it got me. The woofles were nice and crunchy. I wasn't a fan of the taste of mine, but the Black N White sesame was good. The soft serve is pretty thick, which is good if you don't want your ice cream to melt that fast, but it was a bit too thick for my liking. I could taste a faint hint of matcha in my friend's order. Overall, the place is worth a try, but not for everyone. I'm going to come back and order something else, and hopefully I'll like the taste of that better. If it does taste better, I'll update my yelp review. My overall finding was that this place is overhyped without fulfilling the quality of what it's actually worth ($7 each for my friend and myself; taxes already included). Friendly staff though!
