I took 3 items to be hemmed and was quoted $20 per item. Two of those items were summer dresses and 1 was a long skirt. I dropped them off and was told they would be ready in 3-4 days. My husband picked up the items for me and when I wore one of the dresses and the skirt the hem seemed fine. I had about 2-3 inches taken off of each item. I finally had an opportunity to wear the last dress and when I put it on the left side of my dress was longer then the right side. I was upset, especially after having paid $20!!!! I moved here from San Diego and was used to paying less than $10 to have items like these hemmed. So you would think if I'm forking out $20 for ONE item it better be done right. I showed my husband and we went back on his day off to complain. They wanted me to leave the dress and have it fixed. Yeah right! I'm not going to trust these people to touch my clothing again. We demanded a refund and were told to come back after 5 because that's when the manager comes. Total inconvenience!!!! Here we are not only on my husbands day off wasting time, but yet they want us to leave and come back to speak with a manager because the girl at the counter can't make any type of managerial decision. We then demanded to have her call the manager on the phone and have her take a picture with her cell phone so he could see the difference. The difference from the left side to the right was about 1 1/2 inches. After wasting time on the phone with the manager, "Johnny" he then tried to say we washed the dress and why did we take so long to come in. I dropped my items off on the 30th of March and picked them up on 04/01 and then went back to complain on 04/22. I didn't realize there was a time frame on when you needed to complain about your items being hemmed incorrectly. Needless to say, the jerk refused to refund me my $20. I guess at this place the customer is never right and made out to be a liar. I'll never take any item back to this place for ANY type of service You can keep my $20, because I was able to find someone else who does quality work and didn't charge me for the mistake YOU guys made! This place is a joke. The BBB needs to be made aware of the shoddy type of business you guys are running.
