In fairness, the W entrance (off Paradise) IS very difficult to find, and badly needs improved signage. And Yes, the resort fee ($35.) seems high. That said, the lobby is lovely, as are the comfortable rooms, and overall, it's an elegant, quiet retreat, near the Strip. Room service comes with an 18% tip plus $5. delivery fee included, and the food is delicious. Many amenities and the casino are shared with the adjacent, connecting SLS, but the rooftop pool, Wet Deck, (adults only) is wonderful, and exclusive to W guests only. There is a monorail entrance near the lobby, and free self and valet parking. But the real treasures at W are the staff; Angel in Valet, Alex in Wet Deck, Flor in Housekeeping, Miranda in Concierge, each made the visit special in some way, each were so hospitable, they made you feel like you were a visiting family member! Bravo and thanks to all!
