Final Word: Pretty consistent moderately priced sushi restaurant in Toronto.
Not overly pricey but also not the cheapest, this long time staple on Elizabeth St. (@ Dundas St.) has been around for a long time and early on, set the benchmark for quality sushi at reasonable prices.
Over the past few years, there have been some pretty fierce competitors, including Wow! Sushi on Charles St., and while I do give the edge to Wow! Sushi (when they're on the ball), I can still reliably count on Japango to be pretty consistent.
I've tried their Japango Roll, Chirashi Bowl, Deluxe Bento and other various dishes.
Overall, pretty good.
