It's 11pm, you're a hungry, not wealthy college student that's not feeling pizza or burgers. This is the move.
Mad Mex has a discounted menu after 11, unfortunately doesn't include their delicious tacos. From what I remember, their burritos and wings are half off. Service is always hit or miss here. Kitchen closes at 1am so be mindful of that. I think I came here right before the 1am mark so we had to order fast.
Their "BIG AZZ" margaritas are pretty basic and yummy with several flavors like raspberry or mango (they're $7 after 9pm!!). Wings are always a good choice. I really like their SOUTHWESTERN or SAN FRANCISCO WINGS. I feel like the Shadyside location tastes better but maybe that's just a mind thing because the vibe feels more upscale there compared to the smaller Oakland location.
