I usually go to Aveda on Queen/Civello but I just can't justify spending $250+ on my hair anymore. I knew Aveda institute would operate at a high level and had heard very good things. Overall I was satisfied although the grey parts near my face were not highlighted (that's the first part I mentioned)!; I also thought the back of my hair looks ridiculous. Too straight and thick with no shape or contour or texture whatsoever. If the rest of my hair was blunt that would make sense but it isn't. Now it just looks like an amateur cut my hair. Get it. It's a school after all. It's not a deal breaker but I don't know when I'll have the time to get it fixed. The staff and instructors were professional and friendly.
