Great little coffee shop that shares space with an art studio. As soon as I opened the front door, I was greeted with an enthusiastic "Hello!" from the barista even though he was currently helping someone. I knew from that point I was going to have a good coffee house experience!
Solid coffee menu loaded with the usual coffee house drinks including teas and smoothies. I was glad to see that their roaster was Pure Intentions out of Charlotte. I chose a small dark roast drip for $2. Fresh and smooth and bold! I paired it with a chocolate chip scone. At $2.50, I thought it was a fairly good price. Consistency of the scone was more biscuit like, but had a reasonable flavor. There were also muffins and some loaf slices to choose from. All looked locally baked.
Parking was a challenge since they are in "downtown" Fort Mill. Had to park down the road at the Hardees since street parking was minimal and full. Decent amount of seating. Two tables outside on the sidewalk and several tables inside with a couple of couches. Inside was dominated by art prints and tables with interesting antique items. Even a piano that you are welcome to play! Definitely made me want to hang out a bit. Piped in music was decent, but unidentifiable. Kind of pop country? Like I said, the barista was very friendly and relaxed and efficient. Curiously, I could not spot a restroom. So I'm assuming there was not one. That troubled me a bit, but wasn't a deal breaker.
If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely drop by!
