This apartment is TERRIBLE to live in. The staff is terrible except for Omar. Veronica is okay but she never knows the rules, regulations, and or chain of command when it comes to rent, utilities, and or filing complaints. Terry is unbelievably inconsistent with his actions and very rude to current tenants. He feels as if he is some kind of knight working at the St Andrews. Dawn is the new manager and she is in my opinion trying to get rid of everyone who is African American that lives in the apartments. She constantly places notes on doors, cars, and verbally assaults the tenants when she feels the need to do so. She has started harassing me as of 12/28/2017 due to her not liking a previous tenant.
She has served me with a 5 day notice today 12/28/2017 because she said that she has been aware that I have someone living in my apartment that has been evicted and banned from the property. Now, she was never served from being banned from the property nor do they have surveillance in and or around the apartments. It was brought to my attention that Sam the messy maintenance supervisor, was the one who was recording my unit ONLY, without my consent and sending it back to the Manager Dawn! Not to mention the Manager Dawn is a twin and often times, her twin is in there working for her trying to fool the tenants.
Now I am in the Criminal Justice field and I know for sure that it is against the law to record myself and minors without my permission when I am INSIDE OF MY HOME. Sam is hurt over the fact that he was caught stealing from a precious tenants unit. He is also mad that the same previous tenant recorded him lying and starting a verbal and physical fight between two tenants one of which was myself. He also threatened the previous tenant when he learned that he was being recorded starting drama between the tenants.
Now I have been here since January 2016 and since the day I moved here I have been living in a cycle that could only be considered as hell. This apartment has given me more anxiety and left me in states of depression longer than I have expected it to. I have literally cried myself to sleep at night for hating to have to wake up there the next day. Do yourself a favor and NEVER consider moving into the St Andrews Club Apartments On Commerce. You will regret it the moment you walk in there.
