We had been to Liliana's few times before and had good experience. This time it was different..
We were there on a Monday evening. There was another table inside, and few outside. Long story short.. we waited and waited at our table and did not get any service. I even talked to the person who seated us, but no one came. No waiter... no water. A waitstaff walked past our table to take care of the other table, others were cleaning the tables and talking, but noone came to us. I am not a person who seeks high service, but this was just dishonoring. So we let the staff and host know that we were leaving... and went somewhere else. It ruined our evening.
I really liked our previous experiences there. Probably bad day for us to be there? I lived in Louisiana for number of years, and was glad to find this place in Madison. We will be back some other time, and hope to get some Jambalaya served. :)
