The gelato is alright, better than ice cream and commercial shops, of course. I understand the cost may justify the price but it seems slightly high and I assume that's because it's a small business in downtown Scottsdale. It always seem like the owners are just "over it", like in a bad mood and not having it or wanting to talk to anyone. Maybe it's me or how I look, I hope it wouldn't be something prejudice like that. They hardly ever look at or talk to me although I'm always really cheerful in general and they're short with any questions about the gelato. I've been in there *a lot* and I always get such a negative intense vibe from the woman and man staring me down, I hardly want to buy anything. I've been their only customer sitting there for hours before, you think they'd be more kind... Little known fact, gelato should NOT touch light, the containers need to be deep down, unable for customers to see. So, it's not as authentic as you think. That super raised up gelato thing with decorations is American crap, they don't do that in (real) Italy because it degrades the ingredients that make gelato "healthier".
