This is such a large space and prime location, I really wish the owner would invest some time in it, cause it has such potential. But despite the lack of ambiance I find myself at Crown & Tiger now and again for lack of another venue, and I'm usually not disappointed.
They have a front patio AND a back patio which I don't think a lot of people know about. Also they have some pretty sweet drink deals....like buckets of Mill St. for 10 bucks or something along those lines. And while it can seem a little dark and depressing inside, if you're there with the right people, the decor won't really matter!
I have also been on a couple Tuesdays where they have "The Comedy Hole", which is an open mike for amateur comedians. It's something different to check out during the week if you've got some time to kill and some friends to spend it with. Also I should add I've tried the nachos and they get 5 stars!
