I arrived here with some friends around 9:45 last Saturday and the place was pretty much empty at that point. I should have just ordered all of my drinks then, because it became quite packed later on and the bartender was definitely overwhelmed. I loved that rail drinks were $5 and that you can get a delicious Manhattan (w. not one, not two, but THREE cherries!) for only $8! The bartender on staff that evening was very friendly and even when he was in the weeds, he was still very jovial and personable. One major complaint is that the sound system kept crapping out. They really should get that fixed, because it got rather annoying and there is something unsettling about a music-less bar. However, when the music was working, it was very upbeat and created a fun atmosphere. I loved how laid back this place was and the eclectic collection of knick-knacks behind the bar area is definitely interesting (particularly the stuffed owl!). I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a low-key night. Be aware that they don't serve food, but they do offer a delightful array of potato chips for a dollar each bag.
