This review is for catering: I've ordered from Big Burrito catering a few times. The Kaya option is, without a doubt, my favorite. Robin has been my contact and does a fantastic job helping me stay on budget, while still providing me such great food options!
This most recent time, I ordered food for 50 and it was delivered.. (by Robin's husband, he introduced himself after I was raving about Robin. We then struck up a convo about how I think Bill Fuller must be a cool human after listening to him on WYEP. Hey Bill - If you read this, I need to know if you'll adopt me around holidays!)
Okay, back on topic. I ordered a sandwich, salad and paella combo. The order arrived on time and was set up fabulously. I love that I can always count on those print-out cards to label the food. With events, I am always being asked what ingredients are in the food, so it's great to defer to the cards. Both the veggie cuban and the chicken sandwiches are big hits. Ended up having a large amount of the paella left over, mostly due to the amount included.
If you're looking for unique catering options, I would highly suggest Kaya. The menu is easy to customize and able to accommodate vegetarians.
One last thing: a tip on tipping.. Ask to add it to the invoice, otherwise it will be too late to add on once delivered!
