We had an absolutely gorgeous day to visit the porch in the south hills. The location is beautiful and I really love their movement in growing vegetables and fruits right on site. I was impressed and pleased that the zucchini flat bread we tasted was actually zucchini that was picked the morning!
The porch staff were very welcoming and attentive.
I tried each of the items that were available to us and all of them had a good taste. I am not a fan of crab cakes but still tries them, and if it were not for the crab then yummy lol. Others who I sat with said they were good. My favorite was probably the zucchini flatbread. It was perfect portion of all ingredients. Next I would have to say would be the prime rib sliders. Normally this wouldn't be my first pick but I am really happy I got to try them. Delicious! The BLT crostini was also good however I am so not care for tomatoes and there were a bunch on there but the bacon was awesome! The honey bbq wings had a great flavor and the cheese board had awesome presentation.
I really enjoyed my time here this past afternoon. I look forward to returning at another time to try what else the porch has to offer.
