Hough's! What's not to love about Hough's? Okay, let's be clear that the 5 stars are for the beer and the atmosphere, not the food. The food is fine, and your beer will make it taste better, but is nothing to write home about, though I've noticed that it is improving (adding a good chicken and waffle sandwich has that effect). Having said that, the pretzels with beer cheese are good, and actually, you should just ask them to put the beer cheese on any and everything you order. The beer selection is fantastic, the screens are always carrying Pittsburgh sports, and the people are friendly and true. I've since moved across town, but Hough's is still my favorite place to meet friends. Parking can be tricky as this is the middle of a residential neighborhood, and now there's a popular escape room across the street (by the way, go there--it's great--and then go over to Hough's to talk about how fun it was), but I've never been more than a block or two away. You should go here, if you haven't already.
