I was in a tough spot 2 years ago. My truck was dead, my credit was horrible, and I had a new job that required me to travel around the valley on a daily basis. I found Killer Auto via a Google search and really liked their web site. They seemed different than most 'buy here pay here" places, so much so that I decided to take a run up there.
From the minute I got there I knew this place was different. No pressure, no BS, and everyone seemed to enjoy working there. I explained my situation, and they told me what my options were. They didn't sugar coat anything, but they were very sensitive to my situation and never once did I feel second rate or like I was being talked down to. We ended up making a deal that I felt was very fair. Of course I paid more for the car and had a high interest rate, but I was expecting that. They work with Credit Acceptance among others for their financing. All things considered the terms were decent. FYI I worked with Mike, one of the owners.
The inventory there was mostly 5-7 year old mid mileage cars. Each vehicle had a CarFax report you could look at on the web site. They didn't really have any junkers on the lot and everything looked to be in good shape.
I was very happy with my car and my experience there. 2 years later with my credit in much better shape I was able to trade the vehicle in on a brand new car.
Would definitely recommend this place if you have credit issues. They treat everyone fair, and are really great folks!
