We left a property with normal paint spot damage from pictures and scuffs on the wall from our bed's headboard. Minor things. Same as we've had in another other house we have ever rented and we've always been glad to pay for remediation, generally about $200, no problem.
This company however charged $1,890 for Interior Paint remediation with no justification. Attempts to contact the property manager, Heather Barrera, at least to get a receipt, went completely ignored.
