This is a nice place, for a reserve it does seem like a lot of it is dryer than you would want. It is nice to run through this as a break from the Western power-line trail or Eastern Canal Trail. Lots of bunnies. Too many mosquitoes certain times of the year. People who think this is the most beautiful thing ever have lived in Phoenix their whole life :-). Dogs like it. The best thing about running here is that you can run several miles without repeating yourself by running through the park and then in the four directions you see intersecting the East West trail and the North South Canal. Math says you can run 4 miles plus whatever you do through the park without ever crossing a road!
