I live in the area and decided to check this bbtea joint earlier tonight. Great location, small joint (not that it matters since it's a to-go spot anyway). Having never been there before, the menu was quite overwhelming. I walked in, there were three employees (to which none greeted me)... so I stood there trying to decipher their menu. I approached the cashier and mentioned that I have never been to their establishment, in hopes to get some insight on their specials, their recommendations, etc; however, they did not say anything. I even inquired about their specials afterwards (in English), and it seemed as though they had no idea what I was asking. I finally gave up and just ordered my beverage and left. The beverage itself was okay -- the ice and sugar level was as I requested, and while the sesame tapioca is a cool concept, it loses its novelty quickly. For the price I paid for my beverage, there are many other establishments around who could offer me a more pleasant experience.
