I am glad I waited to review this car dealership. Bought my new 4 door Jeep Wrangler in January. Had to upgrade my 2 door as my daughter had just delivered my granddaughter, and putting a car seat in the back seat of a 2 door Wrangler is a feat best left to youngsters with the last name of Wallenda. First the good: We bought the Jeep from Mike Piwinski. What a big personality this man has! In a good way! He made us feel welcome, worked the deal, and it wasn't even painful. I really enjoyed him, his stories, and his honesty. If Mike ever leaves this dealership, I'd buy another vehicle from him. Mike was very proud of the fact that my first oil change was on the house. Now the ugly: Fast forward to 8,000 miles/oil change time. My husband called to make an oil change appointment for the Jeep. It took him THREE phone calls, leaving messages to finally get a human in the service department. They never called him back. When he finally reached a human, he explained that he wanted to schedule the vehicle's first oil change, that we were told was included with the sale. The person on the line insisted it would be $40 something for the service. Hubby again said..."this is the first oil change, it is free, per our salesman". Hubby put on hold forever while this person went to ask. Gets back on the line, and begrudgingly says it was confirmed. Hubby brings Jeep in at appointment time. Person at desk informs him of the cost of the oil change. Clearly, no note made by the previous person who made the appointment. He explained the free/first oil change bit. This person didn't want to acquiesce, but finally asked someone. Yup. Free. Jeep is done after well over an hour. (Over an hour for an oil change with an appointment??) He gets a bill. He explains to the cashier that it was supposed to be free. Yet another lengthy discussion. He was asked to sign something saying he got the free oil change. Yeah, like there is a snowball's chance in hell we would ever return THERE for service?? He asked them to update the bill to reflect paid in full. Another lengthy discussion. These people all acted like we were asking them personally to pay our oil change bill, along with our mortgage. Frankly, the lack of customer service on the "service" side was appalling. I would rather floss with razor wire than ever return to that service garage. Sales side? Great. Service (cough cough!) side? AWFUL.
