I've been a tenant in a property managed by the Robinson Group since April 2014 and my lease is slated to end October of this year, 2015. I can say with all confidence to never rent with this group - ever. EVER. My job relocated me from Tucson to Phoenix last spring with short notice so I turned to Google and Craigslist to find a place as fast as possible. I contacted the Robinson Group and everything seemed fine at first, the manager of this property, Tom, was prompt and generally got back to me within a reasonable time given the extremely short window I had to work with. Let's fast forward the clock 15 months later. I am now I'm my 15th month out of my 18 month lease. I receive an email Friday morning from Tom (property manager) asking to come the following morning at 10 am to do an inspection for "leaks". Let's just call it what it is - wants to make sure I'm not breeding wolves in my spare room and starting a grow house in my garage - I get it. But less than 24 hours notice? I ask to schedule for the following Thursday at 11 am. He agrees. The agreed upon day comes and I receive not a call, but a text message four minutes prior to our agreed upon appointment (in writing) that he would be late and we would need to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional. I absolutely will not be renewing my lease and look forward to my October move out day.
