Awesome authentic Mexican food ! A few tables inside -small place . I'd imagine this place getting packed at lunch hour .
We started with the tostada de ceviche and the tostada de tinga with guacamole- perfect . Next was Torta del principe and huaraches con tingo de pollo with grilled cactus . Portions are very big . The dinner was outstanding...the meat had great flavor . The torta came with a raw vegetable side and grilled onion/jalapeño. The cactus reminded me of string beans with more flavor . The table hot sauce was great and they also brought out a Verde sauce and a roja sauce - both awesome! Also ordered a horchata- yummy !
No alcohol served . Didn't try dessert but they sounded good . This restaurant beats out all of the uppity Mexican fusion/artisan/hipster/wannabe authentic places at triple the price . It's the real deal !
