The hotel grounds are beautiful and the service was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our engagement weekend special which is why I'm giving them five stars. Truly I would have probably given this place four stars otherwise because the room service food wasn't good at all and came with a bunch of excessive service charges. A quesadilla was ultimately $30+. We visited all the restaurants on the grounds and the food was definitely the weak point of the resort. Also, the pool didn't play any music which was odd. The rest of the experience was wonderful though. "Grandpa" Frank at the restaurant was awesome and hilarious, the spa experience was nice, and we were given some special treats to celebrate our engagement. The staff was exceptional and the hotel was beautiful.
