Just moved to east Summerlin from Hawaii, and as a college student and self-proclaimed coffee addict, finding a good coffee shop to study at was one of my first priorities. Found this place on Yelp, so I stopped by for a study sesh. Found it easily, and was pleasantly surprised by the size and decor of the place! Quite a few outdoor seats, lots of tables inside, an upstairs area with comfy chairs, a bathroom, free wifi, live music and, in my opinion the best part, lots of outlets near each seat! It was pretty busy when I got there, at about 3pm on a Monday, but my boyfriend and I were able to find seats. I was pretty hungry when we got there, so I ordered a turkey swiss sandwich. My boyfriend and I are dessert fiends, so we also ordered 5 macarons (black currant, raspberry, coconut, caramel latte and mango). I ordered a hot green tea latte and my boyfriend got a hot nutella latte. The macarons were good; pretty sweet and filling. The drinks were brought out to us in cute latte mugs and they both had amazing latte art on them! I was impressed by the latte art. The sandwich took about 10 minutes to come out. It was good, but kind of small. For all the food and drinks, I paid about $30...a little expensive, but thats how most cafes are. We spent about 4 or 5 hours there doing homework. The wifi was a little slow when we first got there because it was crowded, but it started to work faster after an hour or so. It was a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. Even with a live musician, the place was pretty quiet and it was easy for me to focus on studying. The only issue with this place is that it closed pretty early, so I was a little disappointed I had to take my studying over to Starbucks. Overall, it was a nice place and I'll definitely head there to do homework in the mornings and afternoons!
