I really wish I could rate them 5 stars, but it would not be an honest rating. I've been a patient here for several years. Here is my opinion...
Pros:
-Excellent work filling cavities. Much less pain than similar experiences I've had at other dentists.
-The staff takes the time to communicate thoroughly.
-Clean and pleasant offices.
Cons:
-The teeth cleaning process is a bit hit or miss. Certain hygienists are painless, while others don't really work smoothly. During my last visit a few weeks ago, the hygienist kept accidentally bumping the ends of my teeth with the metal tools. It sent sharp pain down the tooth nerves. It was both annoying and avoidable.
-Selling! When I go to the dentist, I am focused on whatever cavities I may have, insurance co-pays and scheduling upcoming procedures. The last thing I want to hear is a string of sales pitches for their newest machines, their fundraiser programs, or their newest screenings. I'm sure each item has its own distinct benefits, but it is very tiresome to have to constantly discern whether the staff is giving me actual medical feedback or just scaring me into buying something they are selling that month.
In conclusion... The dentists at North Stapley are honestly some of the best that I've encountered. They do a great job at making each procedure low-stress and low-pain. That being said, I'd like to see a more consistent experience in the teeth-cleaning process. During my last visit, the hygienist forgot to floss two of my teeth. Little mistakes... but they make me wonder about what else it being missed. I'd also LOVE to go to the dentist without being pitched a bunch of extra things. Or at the very least, just give me a pamphlet with all of the 'add-ons' and focus your conversation on the procedure at hand.
