Cliffs Notes: Dawn Bigham is amazing! Super happy with my appointment. Got in same day.
I live in Central Phoenix and typically drive all the way to the Scottsdale Shea office because my primary doctor Melinda Atienza is there and she's the best. I was in need of being seen ASAP for a sinus infection and didn't want to drive out to Scottsdale.
This Arcadia location was able to get me an appointment same day, which is fantastic because my urgent care copay is $75 but my "regular doctor" copay is $35.
I got there on time and the office was packed full of people. I didn't have to wait long, maybe 5-10 minuets before getting called back which was surprising considering how many people were there.
I was seen by Dawn Bigham. She was amazing. As I rattled off all my symptoms she gave me lots of "aw dang that sucks" faces which I really appreciate. She was quick but also very thorough. She listened to my concerns about taking steroids and antibiotics and gave me a RX for what I absolutely needed. She wasn't wishy washy about anything.
I have yet to have a bad experience at the two HonorHealth locations I've visited. My only complaint is it took me a while to get through on the phone to make the appointment but I called pretty early after they just opened.
