This is another great example of why I love Yelp events! Even after living here for a year, I had no idea this pool party existed. I'm going to break my review up into two parts: the Yelp event and the GO Pool itself.
The Yelp event: Decent accommodations for the number of people, but the beer pong table blocking everyone's access was an awkward setup. They kept the food and drinks coming the whole time and our Cabana service staff, America and Nathan, were great. Hummus was good, and I was surprised how much I liked the slider. Waffle fries were fantastic as well. I would have liked to hear/see more from Kelly, the Flamingo rep, about their bottle service packages, any promos, etc. Like I said, I didn't even know this day club existed.
The GO Pool: A nice, spacious facility with a more laidback crowd than some of the bigger day clubs. I really liked the design of the pool and the grotto area is really nice, especially on triple digit days. I wasn't impressed with the bathrooms. They were small and not very well maintained. I disagree with a lot of reviews saying it was "packed" in the pool. It was certainly a busy day, but I have experienced wayyy worse. There was room to move and relax in the pool without people touching you. I also really appreciate Day clubs that offer lounge chairs. It's definitely a perk and will lengthen my stay in the sun by an hour or more.
All in all, I would probably check it out again. It was a great time and a good scene.
