My husband, son, and I moved to Arizona in June of 2016 from California. I loved my OB in California and wanted to find someone I would be just as happy with here. I tend to use Yelp to find recommendations so when I started researching OBs in Scottsdale, I turned to Yelp. I wanted to avoid a male doctor (I just feel more comfortable with female doctors, especially when it comes to OBGYNs) but after contacting a few and having no luck getting an appointment, I made an appointment with Dr. Reuss due to his Yelp rating. Before my first appointment, I found out that our nanny had seen him during her pregnancy and had nothing but great things to say about him and his staff so it put me at ease.
I had our baby girl on October 28th and have to say that I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Reuss. He was great about answering my questions and calming my anxiety. I appreciated his laid back bedside manner (it is incredibly relaxing for someone with anxiety) and even his dry sense of humor. I also cannot say enough about his wonderful staff! Gabby and Mary are truly amazing women who made every appointment one I looked forward to due to the grown up conversations we had while I was there (my best friend and only companion during the day is a toddler so speaking with other adults is so nice). I am going to miss seeing them so often!!
If you are looking for an OBGYN, I would highly recommend Dr. Reuss. If we do end up having number three, I will be seeing him again for sure!!!
