I hadn't been to a Fresh Market since I moved from Pawleys Island SC, and I was excited to check it out as we were leaving our hotel. I was hoping to find a variety of vegan items and maybe even something for breakfast. They offered fresh brewed coffee with almond milk, that was nice, the coffee selection was good. But since it was early (8am) they didn't have much bakery items available, including bagels. I was happy to see they offered 1 type of vegan cream cheese, but again did not have bagels, not even individually sold, which was disappointing. And the items sold by the pound, were mostly side items and not labeled vegetarian or vegan. Overall I was surprised to find Fresh Market was not as vegan friendly as Earth Fare or Whole Foods. Especially with the grab and go items.
I would not recommend Fresh Market over Earth Fare or Whole Foods.
