I've taken a lot of time after receiving a private message from the owner threatening to sue me for my review to write the following: I do not appreciate the verbal abuse nor do I welcome cyber bullying. I find this type of treatment inappropriate and unkind especially because I have been treated differently from the rest of the clients at this spa during my visits AND I did the best to seek closure before I posted my multiple visits in one submission. The retort written is similar in manner of how I was treated at the spa. I am really sad and disappointed to have supported and referred people to this organic small business from its early beginning only to be cheated out of my money and publicly shamed. I don't think it is right for me be a victim of bad service and then to have to go through a targeted fear / threat based approach to be silenced. I dislike how this spa who did not operate on integrity nor kindness is using force and unjust means to get what they want (i.e rid of my review). I do not support ideologies which belittle people and cause harm whether intentional or not. Even though I feel unsafe writing this update, I would have liked to read a review, any review, and watch the spa's willingness to collaborate and make an effort to be inclusive to everyone entering through the doors into an equitable atmosphere. I truly hope those who are contemplating to visit here to have a good, fulfilling and relaxed experience. It was all I ever wanted.
