I live in the Chicago area and I was looking for a good breeder/seller of Diamondback Terrapins that would ship to me. I was referred to Exotic Pets on a forum while researching various online vendors. I spoke to Ken (the owner) a few times about care for the animal because I am new to turtles. I spoke to him twice over the phone for about 20 minutes each time. He seemed very knowledgeable and answered every question I had and then some. He never seemed rushed while I was talking to him and he seemed more interested in making sure the turtle would be a good fit for me opposed to just making a sale.
I ordered the Terrapin and he said it would be shipped overnight in an insulated package with a heat pack (its 28 outside right now in Chicago) and it was at my doorstep less than 24 hours after being shipped. It was packaged well and seems to be very healthy with little to no signs of stress from shipping. Great looking turtle and wonderful experience buying from Ken.
