This email is in response to the email received from Lyft. I understand the driver filed a damage claim, and I was assessed the $40 charge. The said damage that Michelle claimed occurred during my Lyft ride was caused solely because your driver practices unsafe driving skills. The issue with the cup falling out of the cup holder was a direct reflection of your drivers poor driving skills. Your driver made a very sharp right turn from Edgehill Drive onto Emeritus Circle which caused the cup to fall out of the cup holder. There was shaved ice in the cup which was not melted and completely cleaned. I am very surprised the this company would even process this claim, because the driver didn't provide any pictures once we brushed out the ice. However as the consumer, I will take all of my business to Uber. Within the last three weeks, between my children, spouse and myself we have used Lyft 23 times. I am requesting a full refund since There was no damage to her vehicle and I would also like to submit a full complaint about her unsafe driving and her disappointing customer service.
