Heard about their groupon deal for alterations so I decided to give them a try for a couple suits I had. I spent about $50 each for two suits to be altered to shorten the jacket, shorten the sleeves of the jackets, and hem the pants. The sleeves were still very long, the length jackets were long (barely looking like they were shortened), and the pants were still long AND you could see thread pulling at the pants, making them very noticeable. The buttons on the sleeves looked horrendous. On the sleeves, there were 4 buttons that had non-functional stitching to make the appearance of functional buttons like many jackets. When I got the suit back, they did not restitch the non-functional stitching when the buttons were moved because I was told after they couldn't, they made it 3 buttons instead of the 4, and they didn't even bother to remove the non-functional stitching they could preserve on some of the buttons. The suit looked worse coming out than going in. I wore these both to a friends wedding given the time. Fast forward now to when I bring them in again. One suit's sleeve length is fixed, the buttons still looked stupid without the non-functional stitching, length of the jacket was still not fixed, the sleeve is missing 2 inches of thread making the inside lining come out, and the pants are up to my ankles. On the other, the sleeve is not fixed, the buttons look ridiculous as they didn't remove the non-functional stitching on some buttons, the pants were long, and the stitching on the pants were tight making it bunch up. Given this is the third go around, I don't even want to bother with another redo. I'd ask for my money back but to be honest I'm just fed up with this place. DO NOT take your clothes here to be altered... spend the money you think you'd save here and invest it in a good tailor. The quality you'll get back is not worth the few bucks you'll save.
