The Indonesian-style poutine was the most exciting thing I ate in Montreal! We came here on the recommendation of a co-worker, because my Indonesian husband needed his rice fix, and we were not disappointed. In fact, we ate here twice during our four days in town. It's a little bit rare to see any kind of Indonesian fusion cooking, and it's great that Chef Ivan is pushing the boundaries with things like creme brulee pandan and the aforementioned poutine. The more traditional Indonesian dishes like beef rendang, chicken and (especially) beef sate, gudeg nangka and nasi kuning are also quite good, as is the crispy duck. Can't wait to come back to Montreal so we can eat here again!
