When the tech parked my car it was like witnessing a Young Drivers lesson. I felt bad for my poor DSG as he 4-point parked with no patience. When the tech emerged from my car, I noticed he was wearing the gloves used to protect his hands during the last 30 minutes of changing my oil. He walked into the dealership holding my key where I got a better look - they were disgusting. The gloves were covered in slime which is expected when you're a mechanic, after all thats why he wears the gloves in the first place. I take issue when those disgusting gloves covered in oil sludge rub all over my brand new cars steering wheel. The only way to clean non-organic material is with low pH acidic solutions which I'm forced to put on my steering wheel now. The tech was also wearing his coveralls but didn't care to put anything over the seat. I've had $40 oil changes done where tech's take exceptionally better care of the cars they work on. When you pay $100 at an authorized Volkswagen dealership the expectation is quality service. This was careless service.
