What happens when you are a loud, fashionable 20-something who works in the corporate world... Where can you shop that combines the quirks of Urban Outfitters with the classic stylings of Banana Republic? The answer is Anthropologie...and I just about creamed my pants when I heard that they were coming to Canada! For those of you who have not had the pure pleasure of shopping at this store before let me give you the gist: It is owned by Urban Ouutfitters and is marketed as their older more sophisticated female shopper.... this mean two things, no iconic tees with catchy one liners and big pricepoints (consider a dress at UO is about $70 it will be about $150 at Anthro!) Beyond the exuberant pricepoints this store is the bomb and I truly believe that their strength is in the details. From hidden pockets to embellishments and interesting textures Antro has something classy, sexy, and comfortable for everyone! This location is one of two currently open in Canada (the other is at the West Edmonton Mall) however a second Toronto location is scheduled to open next month in Yorkville. Me and my credit card can't wait!!!!
