Maple Garden Florist and Gift Shop is a small family run business in East Chinatown. It's part florist and part aquarium shop. They sell flowers, a fair range of plants and aquarium related items inside the store in the back.
I normally come here for the flowers and the value is amazing. I recently bought some orchids for $20 plus tax when every other florist sells the same flowers for $40 and up which is incredibly cheap and nothing is wrong with the flowers, they are freshly cut.
The store is pretty simple and staff are fairly knowledgeable and more or less a basic no frills type of place. The reason I don't give a higher rating is because quite a few times I have been there, the service can be quite unfriendly, maybe it's just their interactions with me.
I haven't checked out the aquarium but if you are a guy looking to buy flowers for a date, significant other or anyone in general, this place has outstanding value. Take the money you will save and use it to add to a nice dinner date.
