This is a 1906 office building that became a hotel in 2000 and the first floor lobby and foyer are an elegant and marble entranceway to several hundred rooms. Most of the rooms have been updecorated recently with contemporary designs and furniture. Our bed and room were very comfortable and roomy and had huge windows looking out to the river and high ceilings and felt very grand. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly; the only exception was the maid service who didn't refill shampoo and conditioner supplies each day and didn't vacuum very well. But overall, we had a terrific experience and liked the amenities, the Braddock breakfast buffet ($20 per person but worth it), and the location is super. Also, the place is wheelchair accessible (in fact our room was a wheelchair accessible one so therefore very roomy and with very wide doorways).
