I love handel's ice cream in garfield, but I've been there 3 times within 30 days and I've noticed the ice cream is too soft, like they need to turn the freezers up so the ice cream isn't so soup like and melting before the server can put it in your hand.
The other thing that is turning me off about handel's is on the sorbet parfiat they used to allow you to pick which 2 flavors of sorbet you wanted and NOW they have decided you have to pick one flavor of sorbet. I feel I should be able to pick two flavors that I like as the paying customer.
Last but not least...they have 4 windows but they only use 2 windows and every blue moon they will use a 3rd window. But the line to get ice cream becomes extremely too long.
