It's clear after reading reviews a lot of people are stupid. I have bought 4 cars from this dealership my family has owned numerous dealerships and for many years I was a lender directly to dealers. This dealership from service to sales has always been honest, courteous, super fast and in my opinion Dan C. Is the best salesperson I've ever had. First off even if you make an appointment and say your on your way and that you want to buy a specific vehicle there is no guarantee the car will be there. Sure the salesman will say okay but he can't very well stop all salespeople from selling a car and to do so would be foolish. Dealerships can't hold a car for every person who says they are on their way. First come first serve expectations like that are simply ridiculous. Financing a car thru the dealer is not the same as going directly to your lending institution. Some of the reviewers have said that they got a better rate from the same lender and were told rates are not negotiable. That is true for consumers but the areas that make loans to dealerships are often different departments and rate programs can vary greatly don't assume the dealer is being dishonest. Lenders provide programs to dealers they often quote program rates that can later be negotiated. So many reviewers complain about the amount bmw Scottsdale gives you for your trade. They don't mark alot of the used cars up to full retail if they did they could pretend to give you more for your trade. You will not get book value you may get trade in value or market value or a combination just expect that cars are depreciating assets. Warranty work. They have always taken care of defects but there have been instances where they would not cover cracked wood trim. You must understand that the dealership gets paid by bmw for warranty work if bmw won't cover it the dealer isn't going to eat the cost. Now you can appeal these decisions if you have a valid concern by asking for the bmw area rep. They replaced my wood after if did that. I even took it to another dealer they also have the same response. Used cars- if you buy a car with 116k miles on it and the check engine light comes on that's on you .. you made a poor choice buying a car with 100k... you are always on the hook and I check out used cars .. This dealer is great if you have a bad experience here it's probably because your a pain in the ass...
