I am only writing this review because a friend went to the runner's den and had the same experience I did. I moved here a year ago and was directed to the runner's den by another friend. I went there expecting to learn something, find out information about running around Phoenix and get a new pair of running shoes. I left offended. When my fiancé and I got to the store there was one person in front of us, so we wandered around looking at the opulent selection of clothes and the wide variety of shoes they had. When the lady in front of us finished and an older Caucasian man was available to help us. We walked up to him and he just kinda stared at us. I then started to explain why we were there. That was pretty much the extent of our conversation. He went and got 3 shoes asked which ones felt right. Felt like I was pissing him off when I asked questions about the shoes he brought out. He was dismissive and short through the whole experience and bordered on rude. We left unhappy and off put by the business and have not and will not return. A friend of my recently went to the runner's den and had the same experience. I was hopeful that my experience was an exception, but it was not. I would not recommend supporting this business if it treats it customers this way. Hopefully a running store will open up in central Phoenix that knows how to treat people with respect. Hopefully i can find another running store in the valley if not it's going to be amazon.
