Just had my first experience here and I'm very pleased. Booking online was very simple and convenient, the reception staff was very warm and welcoming (even though they verbally verified my service a little more loudly than I expected - but I guess there's no point being shy at a wax bar!), and the place smells heavenly. I also appreciate that it's spotless.
I really, really liked that I got who I booked. From my experience with many places with online booking systems, that's kind of rare. I read a positive review about Marley so I booked her, and she's the real deal. She didn't rush the process (though she was efficient and had me in and out quickly), she checked to make sure I was okay with the wax temperature, applied pre- and post-wax products to my skin to minimize discomfort and irritation, used different kinds of wax to ensure the best results/minimize discomfort, and was very thorough - as a previous review said, she even went in with tweezers to catch the few, stubborn strays. She also made some needs-based recommendations (as in she suggested things that would actually be beneficial, wasn't selling hard or recommending things I didn't need, and actually suggested a more cost-effective alternative because I didn't need the pricier option).
The staff do encourage the membership, but they are not pushy about it at all. Even though this location isn't super convenient for me, I'd be happy to return!
