Very disappointing stay. Room had old, worn furnishings and stains on the carpet. Not once in the entire time I was there did a staff member greet or even smile at us. Most of the time they didn't even look up from what they were doing. Housekeepers were leaning against hallway walls and doors texting. The Housekeeping supervisor even walked by one of them and said nothing. Just not a warm, friendly place and no focus on customer service or hospitality. A letter to Best Western corporate yielded only a plastic, impersonal, scripted sounding phone message reducing me to a Case number. I stayed on points, so who knows ... maybe they don't give the same attention to points guests as they do to others. ?? Not what I expected from a BW. There was a time when this would not be acceptable. And it was a BW PLUS. Whatever that means, I suspect it is SUPPOSED to be a step up. Not so much. Take a pass.
