Dina Alonzi was the first and last stop on my wedding dress search. As a plus size bride to be, I was very nervous that nothing would fit or look good on me. Dina was so patient and understanding. I never felt like a plus size in her salon, she treated me like everyone else and there was no judgment, pressure or uncomfortableness.
After explaining what I was looking for, Dina and I selected a few dresses. There was a beautiful ombre blush Monique Lhullier gown that was to die for - but was difficult to get on. I was ready to give up but Dina assured me I had to try on the gown and we would make it work. Wow was she ever right! The dress was stunning and sure enough it was the one! It was clear to me and my family/friends that Dina had an amazing eye, she knew what would work on my body and was exactly what I was looking for - but was never pushy or overbearing. She would only guide me and let me make the final decision, I felt fully in control but with the knowledge that a consummate expert with an impeccable eye was supporting me the entire time.
I left the salon with my dream dress on order and truly amazed at what a positive experience Dina made my day. At lunch my family and friends couldn't stop talking about not just the dress but how impressed they were with Dina and the salon.
Since that initial trip to the salon I have had the same consistent amazing experience, going back twice - once for the veil and second for an accessory trunk show. It has been awesome to have the opportunity to go back and "visit" my dress as I progress on my weight loss journey. Dina and her staff are always pleasant, calm, and I am amazed at their style and knowledge. Going to Dina Alonzi is not just going to a store, it is an experience to work with a truly amazing fashionable stylist, designer, visionary. I feel like Dina has helped me achieve a truly breathtaking beautiful head to toe look. She is fashion forward, modern yet has a timelessly classical appeal.
