I visited The Candle Lab on Mother's Day weekend for an event that was hosted by the Macaron Bar. We arrived and they explained the process of picking scents and writing down your favorites and we quickly realized my mom (who is an 11 year cancer survivor) couldn't smell any of the candles because she almost completely lost her sense of smell in cancer treatment. I told Matt (the gentleman that helped us with our candles) and he took his time and picked scents she used to like that he knew we stronger scents so she could smell them. He ended up giving her candle a little extra scent oil so he was sure she could smell it when we got home. The next day when we picked up our candle my mom was beyond happy she was able to smell her candle. Thank you Candle Lab but more specifically Matt for being patient with my mom and making sure she enjoyed the experience. We really had a great time and will be back!
