Are breakfast here this morning and I was let down. I am all about eating at mom and pop joints and 9 times out of 10 it is amazing, unfortunately not the case here. I was excited to see they had corned beef hash on the menu as it is one of my favorites.
I will say that my eggs and potatoes were great however when I saw the hash I was disappointed to see it was a canned pile of slop that resembled canned dog food. Now if I had paid 4 bucks, I could understand but for 10.00 dollars not cool. Needless to say I didn't eat it and left it on the plate. The owner was friendly but our waitress was not up to par. I never received a refill and she never even came back after the food was delivered. If you're going to brag about all the "homemade" items you serve then it is an absolute travesty to serve canned corned beef hash! Needless to say, it stayed on the plate and wasn't touched. I will say that my friends were pleased with their chicken fried steaks and omelettes, and portions were generous, however not impressed by the service (or lack of) I guess I just made the wrong choice.
