I originally signed up for the monthly cleaning and received my estimate of about $220 for the initial cleaning, seemed pricey but okay. Well the cleaning was extremely subpar and we had to have them come back within a few days because they missed so much (including all the shelves on my entertainment center). They also "ran out" of some grease remover so the kitchen appliances were also not cleaned well until the second go round. I ended up finding another cleaner who charges $75 for my 2200 sq ft house and does EXCELLENT work. After the cleaning with Maidpro we did not speak after that but then 1 month later I receive a phone call the night before saying we are scheduled for a cleaning the following day. No dates were ever discussed or arranged so I immediately called back and left a message that evening and told them due to the poor service we would not require their services anymore. I heard nothing until 2 days later when they called saying "no one was at your home for the cleaning". I again called back and said I had called the day before to cancel. Found out not long ago that they have now charged an additional $36 to my credit card because we did not use their repeat service. My husband explained to them that that was due to their poor service but they said this additional charge was explained to me... this was NEVER explained to me and I do not see it anywhere in my email. Not only is their service EXTREMELY overpriced but the service and customer service is also horrible. I would like my $36 back but feel like this is a lost cause with them... I would definitely not recommend to anyone.
